Siegfried Humm retires after 39 years of service

Jürgen Renner is new Head of Production

After 14,235 days as Head of Production at Hänel Precision Gears, Siegfried Humm has entered his well-deserved retirement. His successor is Jürgen Renner. 

Mr. Humm joined the company's production department in 1978 and became Head of Production in 2013. Mr. Humm's retirement officially began on June 29, 2017. Joachim Hänel personally thanked him for his extraordinary loyalty and dedication. With nearly 39 years of service, Mr. Humm was the employee with the highest level of seniority at Hänel Precision Gears.

Joachim Hänel emphasized that Siegfried Humm was among those staff members who had shaped the development of the company and contributed to its success. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to Mr. Humm for his outstanding performance, collaboration and constructive contributions to the company and the Hänel community.

Joachim Hänel also wished Mr. Humm good health, ambitious energy and plenty of happiness during his retirement.

Jürgen Renner was named Mr. Humm's successor on July 1, 2017. Mr. Renner joined the company in 1983 and has served as Head of Toolmaking and Training. In his new role as Head of Production, Mr. Renner will continue in the tradition of Mr. Humm. Joachim Hänel wished Mr. Renner good luck and success in his new position at Hänel Precision Gears.
